Volunteering:Hinckley & Bosworth!

We are currently recruiting new volunteers for the following opportunities:

  • Telephone Befriending - for two schemes in our Borough contacting those who are feeling lonely and appreciated a regular call/friendly chat.

  • Walking Befrienders/Active Friends (social distance walking for those who have recently been shielding/isolating and need some confidence to go outside, get active/walking again). We have also recently included New Age Kurling activities which run in line with the current social distancing guidelines.

  • Hinckley & Bosworth Community Transport (Dial a Ride) - Looking for volunteers to assist in the social car scheme which is known as Dial a Ride. This involves volunteers using their own cars to provide door-to-door transport for elderly and disabled residents of the Hinckley & Bosworth area.

  • Foodbank Volunteers - There are a number of volunteer roles available to help this vital service.
