Volunteer Vaccination Marshals – Registrations Temporarily Closed.
Due to the extremely high response to the call for volunteers to assist with the vaccination programme, we are temporarily closed to further registrations for Volunteer Vaccination Marshals.
The wonderful support and kindness of every person in the Borough who has contacted us and registered over the past week has been overwhelming!
By suspending the registration, it enables us to take time to go through each registration and contact people accordingly.
Please note: you may not hear back from the team immediately! Please don’t worry as this is a normal part of the process. It may take a few weeks to follow up with all of the registrations.
Please be assured your registration and interest is important but, it does take time to contact everyone to discuss further suitability of the requirements necessary for the role.
For those who have already signed up to be a Volunteer Vaccination Marshal, if there is an over subscription of volunteers for the role, there will be contact to advise registration will be put on hold – the Vaccination Centre is likely to be in place for a minimum of 6 months so, we may ask you to stay on standby and call upon you further down the line, if necessary.
If you have also registered for other areas of interest e.g.: telephone befriending, contact will be made separately to discuss opportunities should you not be allocated to the Vaccination Centre.
Registrations are still open for:
The National campaigns for NHS Responders and clinical roles for Vaccination Volunteers are also still open. Please use the following links to apply directly to the Royal Voluntary Service and St John Ambulance:
Once again a massive thank you to all, we are truly thankful for your support.
